Frequently Asked Questions

How is Big Rack Buck Lure made?

I personally enter deer yards in mid winter, where deer gather in numbers (usually 100 or so). I collect the urine out of the snow take it home and separate the water from it through a process I've engineered, that gives me a real Whitetail urine base. Next, is the hard part... It took 3 years for me to develop the perfect recipe by adding 7 glands and ingredients that separates BIG RACK from most other lures on the market today. (Sorry, that part is top secret.)

What is the shelf life?

Kept in a dark cool place in summer, I have tested BIG RACK out to 7 years with great performance.

Will it freeze?

YES!!! Real urine will freeze. So will yours! Don't leave it out over night. It contains no Glycol.

Can I put it on my clothing?

Not recommended! It could stain the garment like any urine would besides, you don't want the Deer to hunt you! It will pick you up! They are good at this. They will see you and sneak off undetected. Many hunters who put the lure on them never see or hear the deer they bring in, thus questioning the effectiveness of the scent. Don't get BUSTED!

Can I use it outside of Maine?

Big Rack Buck Lure works everywhere. Whitetails are very social. Nature employs this, keeping the blood strain strong. Hunters have used it successfully all over the U.S. and Canada.

Can I use it for does as well as bucks?

When I made Big Rack, I collected urine purposely from lambs, adult does and alpha bucks. I have captured a herd of deer, if you will.  I wanted that buck to think there was 19 deer over that next hill. Just another hidden quality Big Rack has.
